This should be addressed with urgency and utmost delicacy and diplomacy to be resolved, if not we may experience considerable more Covid related challenges in future
In some cultures, peer pressure is a way to exert control, and is, in my mind, a way of bullying

Potential more pressure on NHS and delays getting me and my family given the vaccine and that is annoying.
I did allude to this issue a few weeks ago on a different thread

Why assume that it is internal peer pressure in Asian communities, disinformation is weaponised these days, seed that disinformation in the right place and it will spread.

This could be far right propaganda deliberately created and seeded to hurt Asian communities.

I think its rather ironic that president Trump called the BBC news fake news and now the BBC hypocritically attack other nations like the philippines with their own fake news. One doctor speaks for all Asian community's, I don't think so. It seems the fake news is nothing more than propergander to brain wash the masses into covid jabs.

The ultimately the goal of the fake news like BBC is to attack one who doesn't have the same view as them and label them as anti vaxers to alienate and bully. So ultimately destroying free speech and becoming a censored society like China.
The real reason for philippines not wanting a vaccine is Dengvaxia. It was just a short while ago that their was a major outcry at the number of child deaths related to that vaccine. They claimed they would never enter mass vaccination without Concreate evidence of long term safety. People can remember what was said in 2019, it's no wonder Philippines have a more cautious approach to vaccines.

I believe in free speech, I believe all people should have their free choice to be vaccinated or not. This kind of labeling of anti vaccers make it too obvious that they are running brain washing on the mass public.

I suppose no-one remembers gulf war syndrome. A lot of the problems only started when they had children and they were born with missing ears and other birth defects. Well good luck with your jabs I don't think you will get any compensation of the government if a simliar side effects starts in a few years with these vaccines.

They will just say its miss information from anti vaxers.

I removed your agreement with me, the BBC is not fake News, neither are the majority of the main stream media and when experts are telling you that people need to be vaccinated you should listen.

Real fake news is the made up stories and conspiracy theories circulating on Facebook, Twitter and the like.

Anti vaxers are dangerous, ask yourself why no one you know personally has ever had Polio.

It was a Doctor, quite highly ranked in the NHS (he himself is of South Asian ethnicity), who pointed out that perhaps all Asians in the U.K. should have been vaccinated first owing to their susceptibility to the virus,

You can't remove my voice beacuse you feel like. You called it disinformation. I agreed with you. You might not like the fact that I agreed with you beacuse of other things I said, but you can't remove the fact that I agree it's disinformation.

If you just believe anything the main stream media publish that's your own choice.

Your wrong the main stream media can't be fake news. You have fell for the main stream media's reinterpretation of fake news and like most sheep just believe anything the main stream media publish.

I believe the BBC behaved rather badly during Brexit and this was noticed by all of us who voted to leave the EU.
There was a very large section of the UK population who voted to remain (48.11% against 51.89% who voted to leave) and they would not have looked at BBC bias.

JRM said this about the BBC on Question Time back in 2017 (after firstly admonishing Mark Carney, head of the Bank of England):

I watch the BBC news every day online (TV news bores me because there's too much waffle) and prefer it over other news sources but I don't feel as comfortable watching it as I did before Brexit.

Good post the Jeremy Vine show is another classic example of the BBC allowing presenters to intimate their Anti Brexit viewpoint

Vine is a self-opinionated pain in the rear end.
Who cares what that pompous-oaf thinks - I heard him a couple of times on the radio years ago. He never knows how to answer issues that he doesn't agree with - NEVER AGAIN.
