    Hi All,

My wife returned to the Philippines last month having arrived here in November 2017.
She had a two week trip back to the Philippines last year.

I will join her permanently in June this year, and am currently in the process of filling BB's with my personal belongings, some of which I have had for decades. No large items, only hifi, speakers, cassette tapes, CD's etc.
Clothing, books, pictures and small electrical goods like cameras and such like. Small amount of kitchen utensils. Two full sets of motorbike gear. Other sundry, inexpensive items.

I have looked for information regarding custom duty etc, but there are various links from different countries, seemingly giving conflicting advice.

My question is this: Do I need to send a letter asking for relief on my goods, plus supply all the other paperwork involved?

    Martin.
