Denied visitor visa. What to do?

Hi guys. I need your advice. My visitor visa was denied due to:

Given the cost of your flights, accommodation and general living costs, I am not satisfied that the financial outlay on this trip is commensurate with your income or circumstances.

Given the above I am not satisfied as to your intentions for visiting the UK, that you are a genuine visitor or that you will leave at the end of your period specified by you. I therefore refuse your application under paragraph 4.2 a and c of Appendix V of the UK rules. I am also not satisfied that you will have sufficient funds to cover all reasonable personal costs to yourself. I therefore refuse your application....

I was planning to travel alone for 7 days. No sponsors. I have a stable job. My bank account has like 300k. I submitted everything even the declaration of real property under my father's name, leave consent letter from boss. I have even traveled within asian countries. Submitted a detailed itinerary stating also my budgeted expenses. Saying I will only be spending roughly 80k including airfare, hostel, but with 100k overall for trip.

Can anyone please give me advice what to do now? It's really depressing.

Sadly the sins of others who have gone before you mean that you're tarred with the same brush. 'Likely over-stayer'.

Just as when I visit the Philippines, I'm assumed to be a millionaire sex-tourist.

More money and more proofs of need to return to the Phils, I guess ?

I honestly don't know what more proof i can give. I submitted everything including..

    COE
    Payslips
    ITR
    Leave consent letter from boss
Declaration of real property under my dad's name.

I mean how much more money do i need to show? I feel like they ignored my detailed budgeted itinerary.

It does appear to be a clear case of 'double-standards' - if you can't get a week's holiday for close to £1500 / Php 100,000!
Although it is not mentioned in the reasons for the refusal, I'm not sure what you mean by "Declaration of real property under my dad's name" - as I would have thought the whole point of making property ownership a condition of being granted a Tourist Visa is that YOU are personally responsible for the Rent/Mortgage!

Perversely, in private, you are probably welcomed by the Government as adding to the nation's - albeit, Black - economy!!!

What do you mean by double standards?

I just included that as proof of where I am living. That my dad owns the house.

Was I denied cause of lack of money? Any advice would really help as i plan to reapply.

I noticed they returned my savings bank certificate and my payroll bank statements. Two different banks. They did not return my savings bank statements. Is it possible they have mistaken my payroll bank statements that its for my savings when its not?

That’s a shame as my fiancée just got granted her visit visa I don’t get why if you have 300k in savings they would turn you down and a job to return too.

You were denied for the reasons stated.

Did you include copies of your travel stamps to other countries?

Your fathers land ownership has nothing to do with your application.

    Apply again

I did not include copies but I did include a travel history. They could have easily verified that using my passport.

Should i apply again when i have more money? Should i just go for 5 days vacation? Even with 300k savings?

I honestly dont know how to prove my genuine intention anymore when i submitted everything already.

I honestly dont know why too. Im feeling lost at the moment. Did you sponsor your fiance? If not, how much did she have in the bank?

Yes I did sponsor her she’s due to arrive on the 21st but 300k is a lot of money I’m saving and the fact you have a job to return too and you only asked for a week my fiancé is a music teacher but she only showed 20k in savings

It honestly baffles me as to why I got denied. But I'm planning to reapply again. I just need help how to address their refusal.

You said youre sponsoring her, can i know how much money you showed?

Congrats to your fiance for getting the visa.

Just some questions, is the 300k been in your account for atleast 6months? did someone transfer that money to you or even just a part of it? Or was it all your savings?

Part of it was transferred as like inheritance from my parents last March which I also explained in the cover letter. Included the necessary documents to back it up. So it has been in my account for almost 4 months now. I didnt even use my savings account since then. Just deposited money here and there from my salary

Does it mean I need more money when i reapply next time?

You're asked to provide proof of funds to cover your stay - which you did - but it was still given as ONE of the reasons for refusal...

It wasn't given as part of the reason for your refusal, but may have been a factor...

Would need to re-read the paragraphs quoted in their reply to understand the reasons for the refusal.

Thanks for the reply. I am just really disappointed. I've submitted all the necessary documents and i think have enough money for a week vacation, and yet i still got denied. You think i should reapply again? Cause im thinkibg i should not include the declaration of real property next time and just not include my payroll bank statements. Do i still have a chance? Feeling hopeless considering i have a stable job.

For a Visitor/Tourist Visa, sponsorship is pretty much irrelevant! UKVI still require the visitor to show they can fully fund their stay, as well as solid reasons for returning home after the visit - employment, property (Rent/Mortgage), family ties, etc...

Reading 'between the lines' and from other examples I have seen, it would appear that you need solid evidence of where any savings have come from - not just deposited in your account from an anonymous source shortly before your application. (I believe I have read somewhere in the guidelines, money needs to have been in an account 6 months prior to the application?) This is not a problem if you use Internet banking as you can show money transferred between your own accounts... beyond that, I've no idea how you are supposed to prove the source of any income/savings?
