    Hello everyone!

None of you might remember me, but I used to be active here couple of years ago. J

We moved to England Dec 2016, fast forward I am now working in the hospitality industry for 15 months. Work and family life keeps me very busy so I apologise if I am like a mushroom who suddenly appears every now and then.

I was wondering if anyone here who has a dependent living with them in the UK, ever applied for a Schengen visa for them?

We went to VFS last month to apply for a Czech Rep Schengen Visa for myself and my dependent but the staff wouldn’t accept his application because we have no document that can prove I have the sole responsibility to my child.

We came to the UK without ever providing such a thing to anyone yet a Schengen Visa Application is strict on that part.

I’ve no idea where the biological sperm donor can be found and we really wanted to bring my son to Disneyland in Paris before he starts school in September.

Can anyone give me an idea of what we can provide besides a court order or anything that can only be acquired in the Philippines?

    Regards to all!
    Joy

It might be worth going to CAB otherwise you will never get the matter resolved or a solicitor.

We were applying in Czech because that’s the first destination as Prague flights were already booked and we thought Paris will follow later in the year. Thanks

We remember you Joy, you've only been away from posting for 6 months ;) :)

Sadly I don't know the answer to your question.

Hello, I was wondering if you push through with your child's schengen visa? I am planning to apply for the same together with my child who is illegitimate and I only have the birth certificate with the father section is blank, no acknowledgment from his part, would this suffice for the sole custody requirement? I thought, automatically we have the custody of the child. Anyway, hoping to see what you went through..Thanks
