Does anyone know if the annual salary of £18,600 is the same for Northern Ireland as it is for England. Northern Ireland has lower salaries because the price of living in Northern Ireland is cheaper than England. All answers would be much appreciated. Thank you :)

Absolutely. The figure is fixed regardless of geographical location. Same figure of £18600 here in the Isle of Man.

True I,m afraid only way round that would be to go south into Eire work 3-5 months get your missus there for free and then return under EU rules to the north without any financial requirements , language test, TB and the fee in the UK for 5 year residence is £65 plus bio-metrics :)

It is definitely £18,600 in all regions of the UK.

As well as the Singh method, if you were born in Norn Iron like I was, you might consider renouncing your Britishness, so that she could come and live with you directly. However, because of personal beliefs, that might not be an option to you. Singh might be a better bet, especially as the Republic could be a short car ride away from you.

Whatever you decide, if you have started researching, prepare for your head to spin...hehe.

Unfortunately the visa application is generic to cover all parts of the UK, you wont find many things that are fair where the UKVI are concerned.
