I found the article below extremely interesting, a UK company DNA tested its Directors. What I didn't realise until now is the fact that a DNA test can tell you from which countries you are made up of. I wouldn't mind having this test done myself out of pure interest but I would of course run the risk of being disappointed if I'm not as British as I think I am http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-38183937
I'm going to rush off and get the test done and I will let you know I just don't want to be like the Danish chap in the article who found out he had no Danish DNA and had to ring his mum to see if she had a bike
I'm sure you can get home test kits for this. Spit on a stick, send it off and they'll tell you which area(s) you're from
And right you are Stu, the advert below shows the cost at £71, not bad I suppose; https://www.ancestry.co.uk/dna/?s_k...64490&o_lid=64490&o_sch=Paid+Search+Non+Brand
The Romans dragged people here from all over the world. Anyway, I thought we were all the offspring of Adam and Eve... or have the god squad been telling porkies ?
Might be worth a punt, be interesting to find out. I thought about doing it the past but never got round to it
As I mentioned before, it could lead to disappointment, I have blond hair and blue eyes (no black moustache), I could end up having German blood or worse I might just do it, I need to think about it.
