If I smoked, that cost would make me give up immediately

I remember some mates used to have a small tin filled with ready-made "rollies" for the night in the pub, and the rollies had the filter tip too.

If I did smoke, and the price was exorbitant I would fly to Gib or Ukraine and stock up, chance my arm at a suicide-run through the airport or post it back.

There are lots of fast boats that leave Gibraltar, quickly touch the beaches in Spain to drop off their contraband and scarper off rapido.
They drop off cigarettes and marijuana.

When I was based on the rock there is a restriction on the size of RIB you can own, that's why some impex agents kept and registered their boats in la linea or a bit further up the coast. La Lineas economy seemed to be based on smuggling, normally duty-free ciggies but some big hash movers.
I took this pic in A/dam maybe 2 years back, weed prices per gram.

That space brownie would be suitable for non-smokers ;)

There were people from the Baltimore bar I used to visit who used to go to Amsterdam just to get stoned for one or two weeks.

They probably just go to other states now.
I don't know because I left there in the early 2000's.

Every November plane fulls of American heads used to descend upon Amsterdam for the HTCC, that's all changed now as cups and events are held in the States, but it was good fun at the time, the yanks were enthusiastic but naive.
I was in Barcelona 3 or 4 years ago, at spannabis, a lot of Americans came over to exhibit equipment etc as trade members.

They fall to bits soon as you dunk them. I prefer hobnobs.

I also prefer a cup of tea without biscuits being dunked in them but both my kids love to dunk their biscuits and I end up with floating bits and sludge in the bottom.
Ah, the pleasure of little feet around the house.

There's a science behind the length of dunk and consistency of biscuit depending upon the variety, just takes a bit of practice :)
