Same here my fiancé was at work in makati hospital, when it hit. I just told her to make sure her family was alright then go home, as I don’t think the doctors will be in the right mind to by pharmaceuticals from her company today.

Though last night I said to James, did you feel that, it was a tiny sensation of swaying like the last time I felt an earthquake here about 13 years ago.

We're too far north, but plenty of damage in the Manila , Pampanga and Zambales areas.

    A few buildings collapsed.

Miss R's family is based over in Capas, Tarlac. Even in this day and age, it's frustrating to get up to date info as to the situation.

I've no doubt that the family is all ok, but more concerned about the state of their houses.

Rather selfishly, Miss R was firstly concerned about her flat screen TV which just stands on an ordinary cabinet. Heaven forbid that appliance should crash and burn.

When we had the 7.4 here I watched as my fish pond water dispatched 90% of the water within..OUT!!
No surprise to me that the movement dispatched the water from the top of that building OUT in a similar way!
I have no idea why the Philippines has suddenly become the worlds most disaster prone countries because it had a 6.0 earthquake??
Japan has them things every other day!
