Why would he buy Liverpool, he hates the UK. He thinks its a dangerous place. He's nothing but an ignorant tart. He's proof that social media can be a dangerous tool. His mate Trump wants to buy Greenland and the Panama Canal. Even the UK is not safe - Musk said, probably jokingly he'd like to buy the UK. The world is not a safe place with these two plebs.

I dislike Trump and everything about him but Musk's SpaceX is phenomenal and Tesla seems good, although the cost of the cars is too high for me to make a judgement (except to say that they look ugly to me).
Musk seems to be commenting on things that he shouldn't, we say in the UK; "he is too big for his boots".

SpaceX is the people that work there it's largely their achievment same for Tesla, Musk at this point is a figurehead.

The reason he seems to have gotten into the space industry is that he's a fan of Robert Heinlein's novels, Heinlein's writings promoted an extreme survivalist viewpoint and an extreme right wing authoritarian self reliance model of life.

Now when I was young I really loved Heinlein's novels and I agree that the human race should be multi-planetary for me that is a goal that makes a lot of sense we should also try to move the worst of industry and polution off planet, however a lot of scientists disagree with that view and rightly so I am not saying that my agreement with Heinlein or Musk is right, their disagreement is a healthy discussion.

I grew up and while I still like a lot of the Heinlein hard science engineering type of stories I no longer agree with the ultra right wing attitude to society and politics, Musk however has not grown up and is now displaying openly in public his growing megalomania and authoritarianism.

And why should we have the right to hold opinions and to speak about politics in other countries, because these megalomanics don't and won't give a sh*t about interfering anywhere and everywhere, global politics affects everyone and we all have a right to speak out whether it's our country or not.

Trump has refused to rule out military force regards Greenland and Panama, people need to see that he is giving the green light to Putin and Xi re Ukraine and Taiwan and it won't stop there, Trump and Musk are saying that the age of neo imperialism is here and whether that means economic force or military that's fine by them, the capital G in MAGA (the greatness of America) means that you now need to grovel to them and do as you are told or else.
