I thought we played quite well... against a not very talented opposition.

I wouldn't have included Harry Maguire but even he contributed up front and justified Southgate's faith.

Prefer Foden, Gallagher or Grealish or anyone for that matter over Mount who is very overrated.

I thought we played very, very well and dominated the game.
Our defence and midfield were very solid and let's hope they can do the same against the USA on Friday night.
It was 1-1 in South Africa in 2010

    Let's hope Kane scores soon.

We're top of the group but the game against the USA was very uninspiring.
Southgate doesn't make substitutes early enough in my opinion,
Henderson on instead of another playmaker like Foden was a mystery to me :erm:

Uninspiring teams have progressed to the semis and final before.

Brazil looked like they were head and shoulders above everyone else the other day.

Maybe they should spend less time on futile political gestures and concentrate on their game? TELEMMGLPICT000263790015_trans_NvBQzQNjv4BqpVlberWd9EgFPZtcLiMQf0Rf_Wk3V23H2268P_XkPxc.jpeg

Stamping out racism in sport, as in in life, is very, very important.

Answer me honestly, and I know you will, do you truthfully think a group of western guys kneeling on a bit of grass will make the middle east think "Bloody hell, we mistreated the virtual slave labour we imported to build the football stadiums" and must now look up to our filipina/pakistani/indian/Egyptian etc maids/drivers/gardener's etc as they are surely our equals"?Those virtue signalling sportsmen have given us an epiphany :)

I have been told not one American took the knee, don't know how true that is, so much for George Floyd solidarity, but the English continue to signal

Yup, eradicate inequality, take a knee and flash a half million quid roley to show the quatar nation that we are all the same, even the construction migrant workers who slept on the floor and earned 82 pence an hour to show our unity and equality.

If you don't agree with taking the knee, you are entitled to think that.
I agree with taking the knee.

Exactly, that's life, some agree some don't, do you think this time next year the gesture will have stopped racial inequality around the globe?

Easier to say no, it was a civilised question, no need for the frustration.
