What a thrilling cracker of a game that was. I was on the edge of the settee, trying not to get to excited. Up and down the field they went, the Italian team showing such great cohesion with each other, never displayed before. I think that the manager, did classify the players as underdogs on purpose, to lull the opponents into a false sense of security. And the 2 goals, were absolutely great to witness. The passes pin-sharp on the foot. The passion shown by all players in singing the Italian National Anthem in unison at the beginning of the game, should have made people aware that something magic might just happen. For us "eyeties" it is inspiring and meaningful. ... And that little bit that says. "God created Victory as a slave of Rome", does it for me... And apart from anything else, if Conte got such a varied bunch of "non-entities" to gel so beautifully, imagine what he could do and create with Chelsea....
