Sorry Mike, but however much i want them to do well, because I prefer them to the Pool, they seem to manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of either a draw or victory. :(:(:(

Even my second team, Wrexham AFC, in the National League, can take all the points and run.

Yes Dom, it's amazing that they lost at home with all the time to get ready for the start-up again.
Frank doesn't seem to be able to get a win and not even a draw.
This is what happens without having players who know where the back of the net is.

Perhaps a manager swap with Potter will be available soon... who seems to have the same problem :frust:

ps. Getting beat at home by Wolves is a sad result.

I'm not coming on here to crow about the result, but I thought just looking at the 2 managers on the sideline were like chalk and cheese, Frank hands in his pockets looking like a man that had lost a tenner and found a 10 pence piece whereas Lopetegui never stopped urging and cajoling the Wolves players from the 1st minute until the end of the game, One of these two teams will I think be relegated the last game of the season is Wolves v Everton at the Molineux, Gordon is a heck of a player and will only get better Everton somehow have to keep hold of him, Southampton, Bournemouth, Forest can Everton and Wolves get ahead of those three come the end of season, I think the Wolves can and will, but will Everton ?.

Everton always avoid regulation, they have fantastic fans and an intimidating ground that should give Everton an advantage. Been to Goodison park plenty of times.
Don't know what happened to them against Wolves. Maybe it's Frank overthinking, who knows.

Maybe beating City on Saturday could be the catalyst for survival, Jim?
Joking aside, not having anyone who knows how to score is a problem

Losing to City then also to Brighton on Tuesday could bring FL's tenure to an end.
It is time for Frank to earn his crust as the toffees are also away to Man Utd on the 6th in the FA Cup.
Interesting days for us Everton Fans.

I'm a pessimist and don't take anything for granted. Sure Everton will play 5 at the back and hit City on the break, most teams do this with success.
City are prone to being exposed at the back.
    PS, don't tell Frank. :D

It is time for so many Everton players to shoot and find the net.
    It's a joke.
So many of them bottle it and pass sideways or just miss the goal - Gray, Gueye, Onana, Iwobi, Gordon, Maupay.
Stick it in the onion bag.
Maybe City is a step too far though.

    From a football forum:
Neville Southall recently said he learnt a lot from the LGBT community, and he said, “Everton fans, would it bother you if we had the first player to come out? It wouldn't bother me.”
He got a reply, “It would be good if one of them came out as a footballer at the moment!!”

    Probably City 3-0 Everton :(
    I hope it's not a drubbing.

    City 1-1 Everton
Gray did shoot and found the net
    Not bad for the toffees.

I am afraid that from this acorn of a game no great oak will spawn.....

Send Frankie packing and Get Moyes to come back ............, he never was as bad as that.

    Think you're right, Jim
Joking aside, a draw at your place after the way we lost at home against Wolves feels like a big, big win.
Maybe this will be a catalyst :like:

Never saw the game but I was right with Evertons 5 at the back. Most teams play with that formation when playing against us.
Hope that point helps keep Everton up.
Gray's goal was great, only saw the high-lights.

    Try this, Jim (both goals):

Ben Godfrey was the hero for me; Match Of The Day showed how he wound up Haaland.
