The stadium is proposed to be opened in time for the start of the 2023/24 season. It is still four years away.
Hope they don't bring Lukaku back before the new stadium is built. Will cost them a fortune for all those replacement balls booted into the Mersey. Will be a shame to see Goodison torn down. Those great stadiums slap bang in the middle of loads of ordinary residential houses are iconic. But I guess it's the future as there are no guarantees of stability just by being a mid table Premier League side.

Then we will have to wait patiently to visit the new iconic stadium on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey

The Old Lady has had her day so she is giving way to a new stadium. Stability? Most seasons in top flight overall: 118 seasons, Everton.
Moved back to the start of 2024/25 season as reported in Liverpool Echo ( local mainstream city newspaper)
Annikas dad will be coming from the Philippines to see the ground once complete and by her own admission " if he lives that long"
No idea who Annika is other than she makes comment in the report about her dad hoping to get back from the Philippines for when the stadium opens
