It's lethal force, life threatening - if I was Mateta or his family I might be considering filing a case - Roberts should be banned for life or at least a season imho, - it's not bloody MMA . Further: it's not comparable to normal challenges against the feet and legs that happen either intentionally or not throughout the game - for which players normally get a red card. going forward, if I was in a game against Roberts I, I'd be very very worried about what damage the guy might do to me if they don't ban him what kind of message does that send to other players and the youngsters coming through Sadly, some people just shouldn't be allowed to play professionally - same as some people shouldn't be allowed to be in the police or army etc.

Have to admit - I have never seen a challenge like that - nothing that I can remember - not even remotely close to that - crazy challenge - and remember the guy's got studs on too.... dreadful.
