Your getting married in U.K. on a fiancée visa you don’t need an affidavit.
But if your fiancée gets a Cenomar from the PSA then you can hand that in when you do your application for marriage at the registry office.

So does the lady not have to do one either? As she's finished hers..3 pages...thought they needed explanation of how we met and what we've done together etc

It sounds like your doing your written letter about your life and your futures together?
    That’s not an affidavit.

No she doesn't need one . While a letter is no longer required off either partner it is good practice and a lot of applicants feel more comfortable with their application if the one living in the UK does an invite letter.
I cannot see them reading through 3 plus pages of detail that is not relevant to them.

Is it Necessary to include property inspection report? If the landlord as given me a letter stating that it includes 2 rooms and it’s adequate for 3 people?

    Re: Affidavit
I've lost track of your overall situation through all these pages. Is your partner intending to get the Settlement visa issued in the Philippines, then join you in the UK for marriage?

If so, you may still need an affidavit at some point. When my partner was getting the CFO sticker (a nonsense procedure to prepare Filipinos for life in another country), they would not put the sticker in her passport until they saw evidence that I was unmarried. The only way this could be "proven" was a sworn affidavit from the British Embassy.

My Partner's Dad has owned a flat in UK. It has two bedroom, living room and kitchen. He suggested to let us live in his place when we get there. He will send us a copy of his house and land deed. He will write a supporting letter containing he wants us to take over. He won't stay with us till we get our own place.Do you think that would be alright?

Will the bank give me an extra bank statement when I go in branch ? Normally get them around 9 each month...just notice some reason..this month...it's come 5th!! I'm sending rest of docs to fiance on 15th...but by time they arrive and she's booked her bio and scanned them...the last statement will be useless as maybe older 28 days?

The statement needs to be within 28 days of the date of the application..the day you pay the visa fee.
Why are you sending docs over there ?

your 5th july bank statement is valid for 28 days...so its valid till 2nd of august...and you are applying on the 15th of july ? so you are well within the 28 days validity period.

i was under the impression all UK documents were now to be taken to a local Sopra Steria office where the staff will scan and upload them for you. hopefully someone on here who knows what they are talking about will clarify the situation.
