ok folks ! I won’t bore you with any updates But I’m Asking How easy is it for a Filipino to come over here on a package holiday ? And how strict is the itinerary - in other words can it tweaked so as to go somewhere else when they get here. Cheers Jimmy
If you check Marsman's web site you will see that its tours to the UK were escorted coach tours so deviation would be difficult if not impossible. That's academic as the company doesn't appear to offer tours to the UK any longer.
Thanks for that I’ll check that out How hard is it to actually get a tourist visa nowadays and what do they actually really require as a given ?
Based on my experience as well as my Filipino friends, i would say financial stability, profession/work and authenticity of the purpose of travel. If apply as visit/ tourist then produce proof like hotel booking if staying in hotel, tenancy contract/ mortgage agreement if staying in the house, proof of billing, council tax, invitation letter stating the specific date to stay, bank statement of applicants and sponsor. If the applicant doesnt have bank statement then the sponsor should have sufficient funds in the bank statement enough to cover the cost of the duration of stay of the applicant. In my opinion there is no need to get booking for tours. Just make a summary of your itinerary; places to visit, date, purpose and with whom. If applicant is working then better to provide employment certificate, approved leave form from employer, assets like property mortgage, investment certificate, bank savings certificate or summary of previous travel stamped visa. Do not use show money because they will scrutinized the financial capability... Sources and income. If the applicant doesnt have any docs to support then the sponsor should have iron clad supporting documents to support the application otherwise it is likely unsuccessful. I just got today my visa for xmas holiday trip. This is my second visit/tourist visa to UK. My friend she put 15,000£ Show money got rejected with special note from the visa officer questioning the legitimacy of funds, sources, financial capability and verasity of the purpose of the trip.
