    Hey everyone!

We're almost there, we've collated all of the required documents and we plan on submitting them and paying for the online application and visa very soon. This is how we plan on submitting and what we have:

    Sponsor sending these to Sheffield:

    • Cover letter / Family members letter
    • Wedding Cards
    • SU07/12 form
    • Certified copy of passport
    • Certificate of employment
    • Letter from employer
    • P60's last two years and payslips for 6 months
    • Bank statements for 6 months, printed and stamped at branch
    • Council tax bill & utility bill
    • House title register, house photos, floor plan, letter from mortgage lender, mortgage statement, original land registry document and title register

Applicant is getting the following scanned at VFS:

    • Cover letter
    • CENOMAR
    • IELTs certificate
    • TB result
    • Birth Certificate (both mine and hers as i left mine with her!)
    • Marriage certificate
    • Passport
    • Passport sized photo x 1
    • NBI clearance
    • Marriage photos and wedding evidence like receipts
    • Relationship Evidence
    • Appendix 2
    • Application form
We've checked double checked and triple checked but we would like a 3rd party to just go through this list and note anything missing please!

    Questions:

    1) Will submitting in this manner be problematic at all..? I heard everything should be submitted to Sheffield by the sponsor. The applicant is going to put in copies of all of the sponsors documents to be scanned too.

If you have made a Settlement application (except for applications lodged in USA and Canada): you must ensure that your UK sponsor has sent all relevant supporting documentation to the UK Decision Making Centre in Sheffield. The documents should be arranged in this order: application form and relevant Appendix* (See below); English language evidence; relationship documents; maintenance documents; accommodation documents. If documents are not received a decision will be taken on the basis on the information that has been provided.
How can the sponsor send the English language evidence if it's the applicants evidence..

    o_O

    2) Is it possible to collect the Passport in person once a decision is made? If not and it has to be posted which address is used? Do they ask for an address on payment as to where it's sent? I hope not the permanent address as that's in a province and she is staying in temporary accommodation in Manila right now.

    3) At what stage do we have the option to pay for the scanning and SMS services?

If you take the time to check and read the above or reply many thanks. :like:

I need to confirm for peace of mind as I have my doubts and keep reading different things..
Having the applicant scanning the above documents at vfs and the sponsor sending the above documents to Sheffield will be acceptable?

    Thanks again Big!

Regarding the Appendix 2, we're relying on only Category A to demonstrate that we can meet the financial requirements and as we receive no benefits we don't have to fill out the maintenance section.

Am I right then that I don't need to fill out any of the other questions past Category A, Part 3A?
I'm a bit confused as to if i should answer the following questions, I have right now but I'm thinking I should just leave them blank as it doesn't apply?:

    3.23 (no)
    3.31 (no)
    3.39 (no)
    3.62 (£0)
    3.63 (yes)

    answer down to 3.12--then if yes--answer 3.21

weve all had to wade through these forms----just wait till she applies for FLR---79 pages of it !

if you answer yes to 3.21--thats it--you are saying you meet the requirement. the rest of the earnings sections dont apply to you.

There's no place of issue on mine either (Jan 2010) so uk or gbr will do the job.

Ah yes i was looking at the wrong part!

75 PLACE OF ISSUE ENGLAND, UK

My passport doesn't have place of issue either, I believe they used to but not anymore this is why its a confusing matter and redundant now.
    Don't worry about it.
