    Welcome to the forum!

A few things i've noted, you can remove the following:
    - NBI clearance (its not considered by the officer in your application)
    - birth certificate and
    - proof of employability

    Hi welcome to the forum.

You seem to have everything covered in your application although there are unnecessary documents in your checklist.

Remove your cash savings if you are not using that to meet the financial requirement as that will just give confusion to the caseworker.

Have you filled out the Appendix 2 yet?

    Thanks!
-isn't it that NBI is the proof that I have no criminal records or whatsoever? What do you mean by it's considered by the officer?
-no need for birth certificate of the applicant and sponsor? Isn't that the proof of identity?
    - so I can ditch off the proof of employability as the applicant?

Cause I've been reading thru forums after forums that I need to provide a proof that I can be employed myself when I get there.

-We're using my cash savings to combine with my sponsor's salaried employment. We're doing Category A and D.

-Thank you for reminding me. I really thought that the one being filled out at visa4uk is the appendix 2 already.

Thank you all for your fast response. I'm glad we found this forum.

Print the essential Appendix 2 financial requirement form and complete it. Other than that, you're good to go. Don't forget to make two sets of documents - one set of originals and another set consisting of copies. Good luck!

So if you are combining it then that's alright.

This is the appendix 2. Different from the online application.

An NBI is not necessary but you can include that for peace of mind. The passport is enough proof of identity, birth certificate is not a requirement but again you can include that if that will make you happy. :)

Although, i have applied for fiance visa, i havent submitted any of the above documents that i have mentioned. Maybe your case is unique but what i meant was that the ECO will not consider the NBI clearance. In your application, you have already attested that you dont have any crminal records. At the same time, passport is already a proof of identity.

On your last point, who will be sponsoring this application? Will it be you or your wife/partner. They dont consider financial position or employability of the applicant, just the sponsors (ie when we applied for fiance visa to the UK, we just submitted my fiance's p60, employment cert, payslips and 6 bank statement where the pay is going. The ECO didnt care that i have enough savings in ph or that i get paid more than my fiancé or that i can get an international transfer with my employer).

In general, you have more than enough documents needed for the application and you can take away a few uncessary ones.

Welcome young man, are you marrying a British girl, I'm getting confused with the talk of your cash savings and your sponsors salary.

We're already married. Yes we're combining Category A and Category D for to achieve the financial requirement. It's allowed in the UKVI rules that the cash savings maybe either held by the sponsor, the applicant, or both as joint account. I've been doing an intensive research on the rules that we were able to come up with that :)

If the sponsor's papers arrive within the week. probably by next week we gon have an appointment with vfs global. Also is it worth it of getting the priority service? I've heard people get a result by like 3 or 4 days.

If you have the money then it's definitely worth it. People on here who applied for priority recently got decision in 4 days. Wish I'd gone for priority but unfortunately can't afford it :D

Make sure your savings is held in your account for at least 6 months prior to application.

It is worth availing if you need the decision asap. In my experience, decision was made in 2 days (Email received in 36 hours to be accurate) giving me more time to resign from work, get personal things sorted and prepare to leave. Less anxiety and stress.
