What would you hang on your wall, what picture, photograph or painting that had a flavour of the Philippines? One that might displace the Vincent van Gogh that you have in your lounge currently?

We have had this hanging on the wall for 14 years, I've posted this one before, this is my own work.

In terms of art we've had this painting I bought on the street in old Manila, also about 14 years ago, on the wall for all of that time, it's part of the place now.

I'm being lazy here I probably have an actual photo somewhere but these are the only quick ones that I have online and the first one is a repost.

I like this, someone bought me it when I got this place.
Got no pinoy art but I do have some T'boli clay vases, hand painted, got them years ago when I attended a wedding near lake sebu to see the horse fighting. Screenshot_20220615_202405.jpg

The one at the bottom. Obviously Cubist. Pablo Picasso would have been proud of that!

Decided to go with this. Mrs Ash’s choice. This is the low resolution version from their website.

That's Bolton priory but the stones look a bit like the stones over the river wear at Stanhope in a way.

Bolton Abbey. Wharfedale. The stones are there just like in the picture. Though when we visited a month back there was a stone missing. Everybody has a go at walking on the stones.

View in the other direction. That’s Miss Ash on the stones… different day, different camera and different photographer.
