I am applying for my second 2.5 years spouse visa and I am not sure what to answer about some questions:

    Section 2.
2.2 Is this the first time you have applied for a visa or extension of stay in one of the above categories (inlcuding previous leave granted as fiance (e) or proposed civil partner) with your current sponsor?

    Yes Or No?

2.3 Please indicate what stage of extension of leave you are applying for or why you are choosing to extend your current leave in one of the above categories.

First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a settled person, or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection, or as a child of a person who has limited leave as the partner of settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a ancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person - 6 months).

You are making a first application from within the UK but have not previously had leave to enter/remain as a partner of a settled person, or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection or a child of a person who has limited leave as the partner of a settled person or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection.

Second period of leave to remain (following initial grant of leave to remain as a partner of a settled person or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection, or as a child of a person who has limited leave as the partner of a settled person).

Further period of leave following a previous grant of leave to remain as a partner of a settled person or person who is in the UK with refugee leave or humanitarian protection, as a child of a person who has limited leave as the partner of settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a ancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person - 6 months)

*there are other two options but I don't think it's appropriate for my situation.

Which one among these four options please? anyone?

Thanks Anne. May I ask, what's the difference between option 3 and 4?

I have put my daughter's name under section 4 Dependent Children. They said to put the name of the child including who are British citizens which she is. Not sure what to write under place of issue of her passport? Do I need to show them her original passport like his daddy (sponsor)? I am applying by post.

    Please help for more questions:

    Section 6.
6.8 Add all addresses you and your sponsor have lived at in the 2 years preceding this application if you have lived at your current address with your sponsor for less than 2 years.
We're living less than 2 years in the house that we're currently staying. We used to live in a different address when we married:
Previous address- Oct 2015 to August 2016
Current address- August 2016 to present

Shall I just include the previous address where BOTH of us lived? What date shall I put on "from" and "to"? He lived there since 2010 but obviously I didn't. Or shall I put my old address prior to marriage?

    Financial Requirement:

    7.3A Income from Salaried Employment

    (v) What date did you/your sponsor commence your/their current employment?
my husband started to work in this company on February 2016 but he was promoted on October 2017 (same employer). By the time I apply, he would be in this current position for 6 months (I will apply on first week of May as I need to wait for his April payslip). Now, what date shall I put: Feb 2016 or Oct 2017?

*his payslips come every two weeks. I won't declare my income as his gross already satisfies the requirement. Therefore I'm applying under Salaried employment category A.
Am I doing the right thing?

Febrary 2016 is when he started.

Personally and this is only a view I would put your earnings in there as Well even though your hubby exceeds.

The 4th option 'Further leave to remain' is for applying for another extension if they haven't met the requirements within a set period of time. But you don't have to worry about it as you are applying before your visa expires.

You must fill out your daughter's information even she is born British. That's what caused us a delay when I applied for mine as I left in blank assuming she is not included in the application. We were given a chance to fill the form out in the office. My little one didn't have a passport at the time so I left the passport details blank.

If you have lived in your current address for less than 2 years, you have to indicate your previous address. I had to put 3 different ones as we lived in 3 houses within 2.5 years. I remember I included my address in the Philippines. You only have to consider yourself living in the address as YOU are the applicant. Make sure to provide the proof of address. No need for the Philippines address though.

I agree with Mattecube, you have to put your income in the column provided.

Thanks. So I need to put the dates October 2015 to August 2016. How about the address that I used to live alone before marriage? August 2014-September 2015?

Like what Anne said, I put my daughter's details on one of the columns provided on the form Section 4. Now on :

    Section 9 Biometric Residence Permit

9.17 Dependants and applicants under the age of 16

If the applicant or any dependant included on this application is under the age of 16 please complete questions 9.17, 9.18, 9.19 and 9.20. If not please go to question 9.21.

My daughter is not an applicant but she is considered a dependant, shall I asnwer the rest of the questions under this?

Section 12 – Passport, Travel Document or National Identity Card

12.5 Have you enclosed the valid passport, national identity card or travel document for a dependant?

Again, she is not an applicant but I put her as a dependant under Section 4 like what have been told. Do I need to include her original passport with my application?

    Many Thanks!!!!

I will be filling those up as well if your daughter got a passport. Bring the original and make copies too. Don't forget her birth certificate.

Hi Anne, thanks for the reply. There is question after 9.17

9.18 Give details of the person who will be accompanying the applicant or dependant when he or she attends their Biometric residence permit appointment

Shall I leave this blank? It looks related to 9.17 but she does not need BRP card.

There's a question on Section 13 about children to provide evidences that show where she lives and it must be dated for the last 3 months?

Do I need to provide this aside from her birth certificate and passport? She is not included on my application and she is a British.

We didn't tick any boxes on Section 13 for child dependent. We filled out the form in front of the case officer at the time.

I assume she was born in the UK and her father is a Brit! If this is the case then no
