Gay Pride New York. Not Safe For Work.

Since I had a request to share some more of my photographs that I took at a gay pride event, I thought I would post them here. I hope that it gives you a flavour of the event. It's well worth a visit if you are in New York at the right time. The whole of greenwich village is jammed with people. It's a sizeable event, very colourful and good-natured.

Thanks. I had a blast that day, took a lot of photos and drank a lot of beer. The blue one #12 is also one of the best - although I rather like #3. But all these are my favourites because I felt they captured the spirit of the day.

Thanks. Yes I had fun. Although to be honest it was easy to take good photographs that day. The sun shone and the colours were bright and the beer was cold and freely available.

My wife and I engaged in a debate about which photographs contain 'Y' chromosomes. Personally, I believe that #10 and #11 were born women. I'm slightly on the fence about #13 and although #3 looks amazing, something about the shoulders suggests that she was born male. What do you think?
