His suggested Great Tit was best so far.

Surprised you're choosing Tories as your avatar: first May and now Garnett who was a devout Monarchist. Maybe that's the real you: a Brexit-loving Tory Royalist :p

My choices are purely to please Timmers. He's certainly enjoying my choices so far. The next one will be like all his Christmases came at once (anyone have a link to Farage in a mankini?).

I couldn't get Farage in anything other than a nice pink tie, Timmers. Please forgive me.

Well he's a former Tory, which may account for the hue of his neck tie. But he's a good old Monarchist!

The name "Blair" mean anything to you? A former Prime Minister, probable war criminal and like yourself, a devout Europhile. Well he's urging everyone who's concerned about Brexit to vote Tory and not for his party. I feel sure you're a one-time fan, so I expect you'll take his advice :)

Why is Blair calling on people to vote Tory?

I voted Blair in 97 and 01 (I think. It's possible I didn't vote in 2001 because of illness). I opposed the Iraq war and didn't vote for him again. I don't support parties blindly, and it takes more than one person's words to convince me which way to vote. I look at the evidence, and vote in as informed a way as possible.

I just read about it, very disrespectful of Blair to say the least, who needs enemies when you have friends like Blair.

I am not sure the people of Britain would like to see him return to front line politics as he is threatening.

Would be funny if he and Galloway decided to run in the same seat. Might liven up the election.

Can't honestly see Blair winning a seat anywhere though.

It annoys me somewhat that Blair is meddling in the election, he is doing no favours whatsoever for the Labour party, I'm no fan of JC but at least he is relatively honest and sincere compared with Blair.

Just the fact that he is publically getting involved in the election debate is detracting from Labours campaign.

I am not in favour of tactical voting in any sense but I would make an exception for Blair if he did stand as a MP.

The Labour party should expel him as some Labour members are calling for, at least then he would be forced to stand as a independent candidate.

I assumed he would stand as an independent.

Tactical voting is a necessity whilst we have the first past the post system.
