Hang Won Hong (HWH) is a Chinese run supermarket in Manchester's china-town. Although predominantly Chinese there are a few areas of the store that cater for imports from the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Sadly, the section that was marked as "Philippino" did not have much variety. There were some varieties of vinegar, a lot of different tins of fruits, but I failed to see many Philippine spices and flavourings.

I did pick up a few bottles of San Miguel for £1.50 per bottle, but there were no other Filipino drinks that I could see available (though there were some empty spaces).

However, a lot of items used in Philippine cooking will be found here, I just found it lacking compared to the nearby Woo Sang Supermarket across the street. That said, this is a smaller store so I suppose they could not stock much more. And it was popular with a lot of Asian ladies and I found myself being reminded of supermarkets in the Philippines (being stood at the back of a small crowd but being able to see right over everyone's head :D).

Quite a markup on San Mig :D

Did they have any San Mig light Sean?

Not sure I would pay 1.50 a bottle though, I like it but not that much ;)

No San Mig lights, they had Chinese and Thai beer in quite a few different brands. But just the San Miguel original.

And I bought 2 bottles... Mainly so I can introduce a friend of mine to the taste of it.
