I would like to introduce myself I am James a 29 year old living here in the UK, born and bread here!
I was hoping to make some new friends in the Staffordshire/Derbyshire area, Burton/Derby kind of area.

A short story about me I have a few Filipino friends and dated a Filipino girl in my mid 20's and she was one of the niceest girls I have ever met, I just find the Filipino culture and how they socialise so special.

I know this is not a dating site as such and I am not asking for that, just to meet friends for starters and to introduce myself!

Oh wow what a nice welcome I wasn't expecting that I was expecting everyone to find it weird since this is in no means a dating site as far as Im aware haha.
It's weird really I just miss the way that girl was, I have spoken to many Filipino girls online in the past and all have always been so kind and nice.
The positive attitude, social life and complexion of Filipino girls I just love, I would also love to travel all over the Philippines one day, it's stunning.

You may be asking why a Filipino girl, love is not about any race and I agree! Maybe it's the UK culture I don't like who knows but on dating sites for example and meeting girls in person the mentality of a Filipino girl is so much more caring and nice. It's just how I am. The funny thing is I've only ever dated 2 people in my life and neither of them were even British haha, maybe I like multiculturalism too.

I really am rambling haha, but like I say I am just looking for friends in the area at first haha! So if you live around let me know.
Derby/Burton/Uttoxeter/Coalville sort of area perhaps? Over an hour drive is getting abit much really! ) but who knows!

Nice intro James and yes one or two of us here have been bowled over by the mentality/persona of filipinas, so much so that we endure long distance relationships and the distractions of spousal visas and more. I Hope you find what you're looking for. BTW if you dont immediately find what you are searching for I'd really recommend a visit to the Philippines, I've no doubt you'd be hooked. The problem is I am currently the busiest I have ever been in my life, moving into my first ever house and running the family business, traveling to the Philipinnes right now is almost a dream but I love to travel I just think such a long distance trip would require more time than I have right now. I speak to many Filipinos and I know there are so many nurses about (which I love) since nurses seem even more caring!

I've actually made friends with a Filipino girl recently and we plan to go hiking but just as friends, strictly as friends really, shes such a nice girl but I just see her as a friend!
