Thanks for the reply Big Mac. The link you shared will really help me and my fiance to have an idea regarding visa. We plan to get the visa after our wedding here in the Philippines. Should we start processing the papers now or after our wedding? He will visit again this December to polish our wedding details. Thank you so much.

There is a lot of prep and some is time dependant, i.e. relevant to your application date, which means you cannot do everything ahead of time. Things like English exams etc can be done though

I would consider doing this.
Have a wedding checklist of things to do and a spouse visa checklist of things to do and check.
Does your partner earn above £18600
is he a homeowner?
