HI. I have been in the UK from March 2016 and is now needing help to process my son's settlement visa from previous relationship. I believe, my husband has to be the sponsor if I am right. I waited to at least be quite settled (work wise) before bringing him here. Has anybody here experienced bringing their stepson here in UK successfully and what requirements should we produce? He is currently being looked after by my mom and dad. His biological father did not contribute and has never been involved in his upbringing since we split up when my child was 9 months old. Few members here have been successful bringing their partners child. Wait and see who responds. I'm pretty sure @Mattecube recently got a visa for his wife's daughter so maybe he can help.
Hi @Brom27. Thanks for the reply. I am looking forward to see any advice as you all know visa application can be very tricky despite providing full requirements. Forms are quite confusing too.
