Question, if its prepacked and cooked then its okay with customs? Duty aside

My tongue in cheek way of thinking is that if my other half comes through with a suitcase full of dried fish then it is only going to be for her own personal consumption so no duty would apply. :D Plus which customs officer is going to rummage around amongst that lot? Same as the trick of leaving some well used socks and underpants on the top, inside the suitcase.

On market stalls you can get it tinned and sealed as you wait once you have selected your fish.

Filipinos love chocolates. Mangoes are common in Phil that's why we love imported chocs.

In the past I have had Honey Mangos from the Philippines, India, Pakistan and Peru I think. All were very nice indeed.

But my partner ears green mango dipped in salt for example.

I bought some green mango ready sliced, when I was in the Philippines the first time, but spat it out as naively I didn’t realise it was unripened. :D

yeah salt is ok with mango if you don't have bagoong.

:D was that your first time to eat green ones?

    Yeah! :D

Up till then unripened fruit was never considered, as I always thought the idea was to wait till they were ripe! Though a few years earlier I had tried fried green tomatoes which I have to say were very nice.

haven't tried fried green tomatoes. Will try one day. We love sour things thats why we love green mangoes. Well, there are ripe indian mangoes too. They still have green peel but sweet when ripe.

Mango and ice cream, hmmm. Do you like to dip fries into ice cream too? Something is telling me yes.
