Talking of health care..Someone told me that in the UK these days there is a 3 week waiting list if you want to see your GP..Is that true?
Not true as far as I know, its difficult getting in the same day to see your GP though, means getting up early and calling the surgery as soon as it opens. Some areas are better than others of course.
Yes, 3 weeks is probably about right for my area. Of course if you are feeling like you're at death's door, you can always queue in A&E for 5 hours, along with assorted diseased people, drunks, and screaming kids. ( A bit like flying these days, actually ).
