It IS possible. I brought my first Filipina wife over on a spouse visa, later to be joined by her two children (who now have very successful careers in UK, and degrees from good UK Uni's).

Father was not named on birth certs though... so that simplified things somewhat.

Also good that on a spouse visa your partner can work.... to keep her occupied and not bored silly at home, as much as the extra income bonus. :like:

That's a massive battle you have had with UK immigration I know what you mean about benefits my niece has 6 kids, 3 live with my sister as they took them off her because she was(still is in my opinion)unfit to be a parent through drink and drugs has been gifted a 3 bedroom house by the state and never done a days work in her life.

Whole problem with the benefit system is it penalise those in need of it and the free loaders get away with with it.

Lucky for me and Eden she never put his name on the birth certificate (she told me yesterday) so hopefully should not be a problem (I know famous last words lol)

    Hi Graham
Yep she would get bored quickly I still find it odd that volunteer work is counted as work too the extra income we are going to need as I'm doing it all on my own right now as she has no money we can live in what I earn but once here we have to save again for the next round of visas
