Which part of India were you thinking of travelling in? I have been a few times, spent over a year there in total.

I think he is a British Indian, I might be wrong but I think he knows the country pretty well.

Probably knows his parental area, but knowing quite a few Anglo Indians they end to visit their parents home areas, Sikhs for example tend to visit the punjab, kashmiris visit Srinagar etc, the country as a whole takes quite a bit of getting around given its size, I was quite lucky in going from top to bottom and east coast to west coast.

My wife picked out an amazing movie the other day. Anyone seen it? About a 5 yo Indian boy who gets lost thousands of miles from home. The movie is called “Lion” and is based on a true story of a boy called “Saroo”. He has no idea where he is from or where he is. He eventually is fostered to a couple in Australia. Once grown up he becomes reunited with his mother after using Google.
