The title says it all really!

Also unsure how to add a link to another post (either my own or another member's).

    Thanks in advance.

The majority can be done with cut & paste or clicking the media button (2nd button after the smilies) which embeds non forum media such as twitter, youtube etc.

Embedding is prefered as it means the media sits on the hosts server and not ours plus reduces issues with hosting licenced images/media/content

I was going to post a test pic but when I click on the image button immediately to the right of the smiley symbol a box pops up asking for image URL - which is what one would use when linking to a website etc.

I'm not sure how to post a pic from my phone or pc hard drive.

You need to click on "upload file" to the bottom right of the box, that will take you to your computer.

Thanks Tim - why did I miss that? Doh!! :frust::frust:

I tried to upload a test pic but file size is too large. Is there a decent online or downloadable app that can resize?

Easiest way is to right click image icon and "open with' the windows paint program..Select "resize" then tick the "pixels" (small circle)....Then type in say 800 in the top box..
Then click the "save as" and select J.Peg and rename the file.. Save to desktop...
Upload that from the site upload button.. Job done.

    I`m waiting!!
