    Hi everyone.
I received an update from the vfs today.
The processed visa application for GWF was received on 7/15/2016.
This was sent through sms. I haven't received any email from them.

Will they send me an update if visa has been approved or refused?

I didn't receive any email, just sms.. They wont tell you if your visa has been approved or refused.. You will see the result when you collect your passport..

Yesterday I forgot to thank Micawber who started this thread and was a great source of wise advice last year when I almost gave up in my quest to get my wife to the UK - special thanks to Mr Micawber wherever you are :)

Sure BigMac - he has not been around since May :(

Do you happen to know if the Filipina spouse can leave the UK during the 5-year ILR process?

    Cheers

I think it would be rare for a Filipina not to go back to the Philippines in five years, unless she has no family back there.

    Hi all,

I am new here i BF, saw this site while browsing about the documents that I need to provide when applying for pbs dependant visa.
I am here in the UK under tier 2 (general) since Nov 2015. I am planning to go home to the Philippines on Nov 2016 to get married.

I just have some questions guys, I hope you can help me :)

    1. What are the documents that I need to provide for dependant visa application for my future husband?

    2. Does the "show money" needs to be in my debit card? Somebody told me that they will not accept a savings account? All my money is in my savings so i'm torn if I should transfer it back to my debit card.

    3. What is the possible time frame of the application?

    4. What additional documents can I provide?

    Thank you so much guys

Welcome to the forum mcmm, personally I cannot help you as my own experiences are with the general settlement visa and not the point based system, hopefully someone here will come along can give you some pointers :)
