I just checked my wife's, it is only 30 day vingette which expires on 3rd November.
Your Wife's however is a 6 month Validity.
Maybe they are making a 6 month vingette?
In any case, I would get that checked..

    Please let us know.

    Thanks

Thanks Rob for you replies, what does the 6 months vingette mean?, i'm confused about what happens after the 26 april 2018, does my wife have to leave the UK and go back to the Philippines? or do we apply for her to stay, on the application we applied for settlement, we got nothing except her passport, no letters explaining anything at all

As far as I am aware there is only a 30 day Vingette. THis is just a word they have used to mean sticker.
Like I said, it would appear you have a 180 day Vingette.
I haven;t heard of this though!

Best to get it checked by UKVI.

I can't comment on if she has to leave or not.

    Sorry.

You might have applied for a ‘fiance’ visa. It has the same requirements as that of a spouse visa but is valid for 6 months. Then you are then to apply for a flr (m) within the uk.

In most cases, if you have applied for a spouse visa, they will tell you that your wife /or partner will have to fly to the yk within 30 days (as stated in the vignette) then she will have to present herself to a designated office to have her biometric taken.

Now with all the delays that has happened, it might be possible that they have changed this 30 day /1 month rule and extended it to 6 months.
I suggest you need to get in touch with the home office to clarify this.

Check your application to make sure it was a spouse visa...the validity should only be thirty days and you apply for an extension (FLR) after two and a half years.

most likely explanation. a spouse visa is settlement/spouse, whereas a fiancee visa is settlement /marriage. an easy mistake to make. ( isnt the application form full of them ?! )

Hello everyone! I will be applying for Spouse Visa in May or June 2018. I have read the guidance but I am very confused about it especially the financial requirements. I am not sure of which category. My fiance is a piano teacher in 3 schools here in the UK, and also he teaches under self-employed basis (no tax). He is also a music examiner and he goes to Malaysia or Hongkong once a year for 6weeks to do the examining. I am really confused of which category I will be. I hope you can help me with this.

Can anyone tell me if I can apply for a settlement visa for my wife whilst she is in the U/K as she is currently on a 6 Month visitor visa to U/K, we are all here until Next Month but her visa runs until March, we have a 3 year old daughter with a U/K passport and we want her to go to school here will they let us apply here and not have the hassle of going back with all that entails, we were married in phils over a Year ago.
All financial and house aspects are fine we fit all criteria .

Unfortunately you cannot change from visit visa to spouse visa within the UK,Your wife will have to return to the Philippines and then you can submit your application.

I might be wrong here but the way you have worded your post, it sounds like you too are going back to the Philippines or are you staying in the UK whilst she returns?
