Hi John, we submitted on 20th June and picked up her passport with the visa on 27th June. Not priority, standard service.

I live near good old Skeggy. Why? :)

It's worth mentioning that @DavidAlma applied for a VISIT VISA that's why it's quicker. They usually make a decision in 15 working days. If you apply for a fiancé visa it will take longer. :)

    I
originate from North Lincolnshire. Ten mile to the west of Grimsby out in the country. My mother and family are up there.
Not been to Skeggy for years.

Ok, so as we are applying for Fiancé visa, would it be better to apply using Priority? How long does this take in Dubai?

Thanks for your help Brom, looks like the processing is quick. I assume the

Thanks for all your help. We submitted our marriage visa this morning in Abu Dhabi. They will respond within 60 days. Hope it's a lot sooner.

No 60 days is standard, priority processing is quicker.

Priority is 1 day or the 15 days is an extra 2700 AED for Dubai

Hi all, my tb certificate will expire in 2 mos but I won't be submitting my application until next month. By then my certificate will only have 1 month validity left.
Does anyone know if UKVI will get in touch to request a new certificate while my visa is in process? IOM wouldn't allow me to get a new test until 2 weeks before my certificate expires. Thanks!

Hi all we need your help , please give us an advice or any tips about provisional booking , My Fiance sent an email to the registrar and he got their reply saying that they will not provide any written confirmation that a notice of intention to marry or form a civil partnership has been booked or that a ceremony has been arranged, as it is not with in the statutory duties of the Superintendent Registrar to do so.

Any help is much appreciated . Thanks

As long as you apply when your TB certificate is still valid then that's all that matters.

Tell him to try another registry. Sometimes your local registry won't allow you to do it. Try to contact others and see what they say about it.
