Has she done the CFO yet? Will your good lady then your wife be allowed back into the UK after the wedding?

Yes she has, thanks for the heads up.
We are doing a simple registry here Jan/Feb, then will apply for the next visa straight away. The big wedding party will be in PH in May. It will also include a church ceremony. I'm not catholic, and dont quite remember the details, but we can only do the church ceremony if we are already married in UK!

Hi everyone just a quick inquiry. My fiancee have been renting the property for 8 years now and which will serve as our accommodation when the visa gets approved. I would like to ask what kind of documents that the landlord could give him if their is no Tenancy Agreement. He lives in the country and he just pays the rental every month without any contract to be renewed.

Huh? I thought you had to be together for at least 6 months and I’d course met...to start the fiancé visa?
Also it’s easier to marry in phillipinnes and then go uk?

Is it easier to marry in the UK or the Philippines
3 ways to look at it

    Option 1.
Fiancee visa you get this visa for a valid period of 6 months in the UK,you have to marry in that 6 month period once married you apply for the spouse visa and wife can stay in UK whilst waiting and after a successful decision.

    Option 2
Marriage visit visa again you get this visa for a 6 month period and marry within that time, however at the end of the 6 months or sooner (depending on own circumstances) wife must leave the UK and apply for the spouse visa outside the UK

    Option 3
Marry in the Philippines you at some point have to return home and wife applies for spouse visa from outside the UK.

Marrying in the Philippines means wife has more family around her on her special day, and its nice, downside is she will have to do a lot of the arranging on her own
Option 1 once she is here and you are married you are not separated!!

Argh right..yeh we have both agreed that fiance visa is best...out of interest . What's the % of winning and losing?

provided you--the sponsor--meet the financial requirement, have suitable accommodation..and can prove you are in a genuine relationship it shouldnt be a problem...so long as she is not already married / has a criminal record / or is a terrorist.

the bottom line is--the UK treasury will be making ££thousands out of you in visa fees over the next 5 / 6 years.
