Hello guys! Is it allowed to take the IELTS exam in the UK while on tourist visa? My husband and I been waiting for my IELTS exam here in the Philippnes since june but it was always cancelled by the British council due to covid-19. So we can't really apply for a spouse visa yet. Our option right now is to apply for a tourist visa.
I really dont understand why people place so much faith in the British Council, so long as the provider is approved by UKVI you can take a test with them, we used https://www.idp.com/philippines/ielts/ielts-for-ukvi/ got the result within the week, maybe you could try them. Just looked at the website and they have dates available in Manila & Cebu this week next week and so on...
