IELTS in Cebu

Hi All,

Does anyone know of IELTS providers in Cebu that are officially recognised by UK immigration.

I don't want to pick one that is not and they all seem to think they are official!!

Hi thanks for this. I am looking for the basic skills for spouse visa. On my phone but will check to see if British Council offer this.

Generally speaking can I apply to any IELTS provider or they have to be recognised by the UK immigration.

The course must be IELTS FOR UKVI.
I think the only providers of this in the Philippines are British council and IDP.

IDP are in Cebu, and you need Life Skills,

Hi, I see that IDP are ielts australian? Are they accredited / authorised by the UKVI? Was this ok to get your visa for UK?

Yes my friend thats what we got this for, when you apply for the test, it asks you if the test is for a UK visa application, so yes go ahead apply for whichever level you are comfortable with because it is accredited by the UKVI..

Last question promise. Can you go for B1 straight off for a spouse visa ( not A1). So your don't have to do the B1 when you are in the UK?

Yes, as you can see my Spouse did this for her IELTS, she didnt really want to go for B1, but i convinced her she would pass which she did, my advice to anyone that has a reasonable level of speaking & listening is to go for the B1 to save having to do another test when FLR is required, Good luck.
