That's a lot of changes UK still hanging on the Amber list. Will definitely not be on the green list anytime soon. Not good news really.

Yeah I know Jim, personally I would have expected Omicron to change everything for the next few months, the announcement of December 1st was made last Friday and reported more widely on Sunday, then Omicron happened.

There's nothing clear on the DFA site it would be good to see something official but nothing yet.

I got my car MOT'd the other day a bit of a carry on as I had to keep taking it back, every time I went down to get into the car the heavens opened with a mass of hailstones, as soon as I started moving the hailstones stopped the moment I got out of the car to leave it at the garage and walk back to the office more hailstones, and it's freaking freezin, not the nice sunny freezin but the damp crappy dark miserable freezin :D

Landed in cebu 26th November. This was the day they 1st started using the One Pass. Luckily it was also the day they were going from 6 days quarantine to 3 days.

When we got off the plane we were taken into a gate waiting area were told off the process we were about to go through and then split into groups depending on what list our departing countries were.

Next we were sent to the department of health counter were they checked our rapid pcr certificate. Vaccine certificate. Hotel booking. And the one health pass QR code and account. Tip here is to print everything people there trying to show everything on there phones just slow the whole thing down. Then the officer will give you a bar code for your swab tests. Note all swab tests are free what is surprising being a foringer

Next step is Immigration. Had to show the marriage certificate. And both passports as the norm

Next go to breau of tourism where they check your quarantine hotel booking and issue you a pass for your hotel transfer driver. Make sure you have a hotel transfer booked your not aloud to use a taxi or private car

Next your 1st swab test next one is 3rd day of quarantine. Note as soon as you land this is the start of your quarantine so if you land say 10pm by the Time you get to the hotel you could already completed 1 day quarantine.

    Next luggage collection.

Then customs the officer takes your driver pass and calls your driver who hopefully is waiting outside for you

The off to your hotel for 3 days quarantine

I post a bit about the hotel and wait for the next swab and travel to province later

Sounds better than the 6 days I had to endure. Put UK on the Green List would be better!
