Malcolm Grand Central is the new name for the old New Street Station since it was redeveloped it doesnt take local Trains now, Snow Hill and Moor Street are for local Trains, the Bus Stops are in Colmore Row a few hundred metres from Snow Hill Station alongside the Cathedral, Trams usually run from Victoria Square through to Wolverhampton through what can best be described as a run down route of Birmingham/Black Country ie Jewellry Quarter, Winson Green, Handsworth, West Brom, Wednesbury, Bilston, Wolverhampton and eventually when it opens to Wolverhampton Train Station, currently the final leg of the Birmingham section ends at Bull Steet as the final legs to Victoria Square past Grand Central is being relayed due to fault issues with the existing Track, thats what you get with Chinese Steel does that help ? I know you lived here in a past life .

Did yourselves have an appointment on Wednesday just gone ?.

No sorry our trip there will be 20th December has that's earliest we can get in even through appointment with sop steria is 9th November.

Hiya,Phil.Embassy satellite ofc in Edinburgh has just started accepting passport renewal (straight forward only)and a friend of mine just phoned them to get an appointment.Think you can go this way if you're nearby

we already went to Edinburgh - it's about 250 miles from us so was a nice drive. When we applied we were offered lots of appointments for the next working day so that was impressive. They were very efficient, no big queues or anything like that and my wife was in and out in less than 30 minutes. We got text message updates to say the passport renewal had been received at the main embassy in London the following day so if it's easy enough for you to get there I would 100% recommend it ahead of going to the one in London

I believe Cardiff is also doing passport renewals now same as Edinburgh so another choice

Its easier robbing a bank than it is to try get a slot for passport renewal.. Stressful. And damn right stupid and glichy.. Trying sort my wife.. Went on the passport renewal page monday when they were addding date... There were 2 green slots for jan 4th and 5th...chose 5th...got an error.. It kicked me out...logged back in... And all gone again.. Absurd and rediculous

If you can go to Edinburgh or I assume shortly Cardiff then can do renewals (no change of name or any info page changes).

We emailed the Embassy of Philippines and told them we had an expired passport and was doing ILR before 13 December, they replied saying show proof of appointment and wife expired passport, we sent the proof and they booked us in for 20th of December and we put it in covering letter to ukvi saying about the passport appointment and could show proof after we get the passport
