It seems that the IHS fee may be set to increase next year, 2021.

    https://researchbriefings.parliament.uk/ResearchBriefing/Summary/CBP-7274

It may rise from £400 per year to £625?

The fee is payable at each visa stage, with the exception of ILR (unless ILR application fails, then further FLR required inccuring another IHS fee).

The actual IHS fee payable at time of visa application is the annual sum divided by month and multiplied my length of visa validity in months.

I realise and fully agree newcomers to the Uk need to pay an amount into the NHS, i thought the original £200 per year was to low, and the increase to £400 per year brought in only around 12 months ago was about right, so in my opinion to further increase the IHS after the recent 100% increase can only be another way of ripping of people wishing to come to this country, as if its not difficult or expensive enough currently. :(

I think they'll always make sure this'll rise above inflation.
