Is reusing IELTS B1 still ok in 2025?

I used IELTS B1 for my fiancé visa early 2024, got approved and I used the same IELTS for my first FLR which is expiring in early 2027. I wonder if I can still use it again for my second FLR. Does anyone know if the rule has changed? or be safe and get a new one before my visa expires.

As far as I know, English Language certificates (IELTS) don't expire...

My wife did her A1 for the Fiancee Visa, then jumped to B1 (missing A2 to save a bit of money) for the rest of her 'journey' through to British Citizenship.

So for the first 6 months , she used A1 and took B1 for the first 2.5 years and reused it up to citizenship?

IELTS has 2 years expiry but as far as I know B1 is reusable for next FLR . I'm not sure if that has changed.

I can't help with if anything has 'changed' - sorry - but I just checked the date on her B1 and it looks like the A1 covered her for the Fiancee and first 2.5-year LTR visa, so she took B1 before applying for the second 2.5-year FLTR visa. Hope that helps.

Thank you. I guess I'll just reuse it.
