Looks like your VPN is broken as the traffic that allows you to watch this is clearly not going through the VPN.
If its the one where the son died in Kenya or Somalia I saw it a few years back on mainstream brit TV,quite a good watch.
Why would I concede something that is contrary to my experience? No it is not. I use it to watch BBC which I can not otherwise do. My IP address is currently 46.36.203.79 which is owned by NForce Entertainment, Hull.
Since you clearly don't believe me, here are some stills from the video. Please check that I'm posting with the IP address I said I am using and verify that it is indeed in the UK. Just to prove the point, here's a still from last night's 'Have I Got News For You" with David Dimbleby as the guest presenter:
That's a foolish move. Now that you have given away your IP address "they" will be tracking all your online activity.
I'm not that bothered, I do seem to get different IP addresses each time and I've also got another 2 or 3 hosts I can use.
It doesn’t work for me either. So everyone residing in the UK who has attempted and commented that it doesn’t work. I’d have to question that particular VPN. Have you tried the other VPN’s you have to hand?? Are they ones you pay for or free?
He is posting with an IPAddress which appears to be in Hull, the question would be how YouTube are implementing the block.
It's implemented by IAPS Security Services, L.L.C Based on your experience you are claiming that the video is NOT blocked in the UK, that is completely contrary to the experience of all of us here in the UK, you are not in the UK but once again you must be right that it is not blocked in the UK and we must all be wrong, all of our computers and networks have something wrong with them that is stopping us seeing this video, a video that is according to Markham NOT blocked in the UK. 4 UK based people report it blocked 1 PH based person reports it blocked on their VPN Markham rules that it is NOT blocked in the UK. Occam's Razor anyone.
My current location Egypt is OK. Doing some quick tests using my VPN (PrivateInternetAccess): VPN Netherlands is OK VPN Manchester is BLOCKED VPN London is BLOCKED VPN Southampton is BLOCKED I think the blocking might be carried out on behalf of Channel 4 by the local ISP used to access the internet, Virgin, TalkTalk, Sky, BT etc.
Or the blocks are based on an ISP check rather than a full lookup. However your tests back the experience of everyone else here in the UK.
At the time of my tests, only John reported he was blocked; your sarcasm is completely uncalled for. If you don't want me to post here, ban me, OK. Why Channel 4, a UK broadcaster, blocking a programme it has made in its home market 'for copyright reasons'. And how is it that I am able to watch it either via a VPN or via a proxy server?
I cant watch it either , neither am I daft enough to believe your assertions however I am prepared to believe you cant help it
Hull famously has an independent telephone company, nothing to do with BT . I guess that is why @Markham is able to access the video, Kingston Communications is not censored. https://www.broadbandchoices.co.uk/guides/broadband/hull-broadband
