If you like really good Purple Yam/Taro/Ube, then you should head to Good Shepherd Convent in Baguio. They make the most delicious Purple Yam! The sweetness of it is just right.
I like some things with cheese but not many, ice cream would not be on the list Neither is the cheesy popcorn the sell in SM Cinemas, I always end up with plain or slightly salted popcorn in the cinema, when what I want is American style sweet cinema popcorn You can't even rely on Walls Ice Cream over there not to contain something an awkward Brit like me would not want (called Selecta over there but it is Walls ) all I want is chocolate and vanilla with maybe some crunchy biscuity bits thrown in so why do I have to suffer marsh mallow ........arrrrrrggggghhhh

The kids love those, but you can buy bags of frozen chips in SM Hypermarket now, that's fairly new over there, our freezer is very small but we bought some and I taught her how to cook them and what the risks were, most cooking over there does not involve what is effectively deep frying in a wok, a chip pan fire would not burn our place down if it were left to burn out on it's own. Me I'm not so mad keen on the cheesy chips but at least both are savoury flavours and they do compliment each other
Wouldn't work not the same at all, it is the crystallised sweetness of the sugar in American Popcorn that gives the desired texture and experience, it is light and airy not heavy like toffee popcorn or popcorn drenched in butter
Actually there is another way, cram my suitcase full of American sweet cinema style microwave popcorn, I've done that often in the past and the kids love it too as does Ana. This is just an example I don't get this specific brand that often, you can get 5 sachet for a pound which is enough for about ten Philippine cinema sized portions.
Yes, just buy from the grocery, and prepare it at home. Now when you will head out to the cinemas, stuff the popcorns inside a plastic bag, and then tuck it in yours and the kids' trousers. Be sure not to let the security guards see it! MISSION IMPOSSIBLE! Hahahahahahahaha...
I'd get away with that young lad I always have a shoulder bag and we are always carrying bags that show we have just spent money somewhere, easy to pre fill them with home made popcorn Never had a bag checked at SM Cinema MoA not ever
