    Yeah, I came back with a few too many magic saraps for my own liking, so.....

    We have a couple of asian stores here in wrexham, and they are both quite decent. Although, in my modest opinion, kind of expensive...

    But we found that the rice, at the moment, is much cheaper and better from Aldi's... Only a fiver for a 5 kgs bag.

    Sometime in Aldi we also find oriental foodstuff, as in noodles, excellent coconut milk (85%) and soy sauce.

    Is the rice in Aldi from Asia instead of the usual American rice from the likes of Asda and Tesco?

    It is a special import Thai rice, in bags of 5Kgs, called Salaa. it was in their asian food offer a couple of weeks ago, and need to find a couple more bags, as them two indoors are eating me out of the place............:erm:

    They seem to cook a kilo at the time............:sex: ... me.............:erm:

    I have been lucky jean found a rice she likes for 64 eurocents a kilo and i bought the lidl rice cooker yesterday

    Never thought about Ebay for food items :D Think I might be getting the odd pack of Nestea from there....
