I've watched so many of Neil's podcasts he's a really good communicator I really like him and particularly Chuck Nice who co-hosts with him. I've probably watched this one before but I will watch it later Mike. As I've said before we are all 13.8 billion years old at the very least, the stuff, the atoms that make us up came into existence about 380,000 years after the big bang, the electrons and protons were around from moments after the big bang but the temperature was far too high to form atoms everything was ionised. Stars built the heavy atoms that we are made of, that tooks billions of years, first generation stars and then second generation with neutron star collisions making the really heavy elements like gold and uranium. We were not possible until all of that history had occurred but here we are, none of us remember anything before we came into existence and we won't know anything when we cease to exist, I find that wonderful because we are here now by a miracle of reality and universe construction. Fear death, there is not a lot of point in that but we should do all we can to make our own story memorable and to do the best for everyone else that we interact with and experience in our time in this exisitence, we have a choice to be kind or cruel in our existence, I choose to be kind, many choose to be cruel. We make the story, but the story eventually ends for all of us. There are idea's in quantum mechanics that suggest that all existence is infinite, I don't really believe that, I think each existence is unique but that opinion is not based in science it's just gut feeling.
