A new service (TelNG) has just been launched that gives free international calls from UK mobiles and landlines. It gives free calls to 39 international destinations between 8 am - 6 pm Mon-Fri. Being a dial-thru service you do not need to register, you dial the access number 03300 330 300 using your free inclusive minutes from your mobile/land-line provider. When prompted, you simply dial the number you wish to reach. Unfortunately, you cannot call the Philippines using this service, but many countries that British Filipino members need to call are included. Generally, only calls to land-lines are included but, for some countries, it includes mobiles too. I must say this is very good as i have been using it to call friends and family in USA,india,brazil, portugal. In can call not just the landline but the mobile too. Awesome
Another option to call USA and Canada for free (landlines and mobiles) is Google Hangouts and that works 24/7. I don't think you even have to use any sort of VPN now to make it look as if you are signing up in USA; you can just sign up in the UK.
