Man Utd seem to be struggling to sign players this year...

I suppose with Brentford finishing 5 places above United in 10th Mbueno might feel it's a few steps down too many for him :D

The refusal to pay the historical "United Tax"is paramount.

    What do the fans want?

Money in the bank or goals on the pitch ?

I noticed Utd are trying to sign Ollie Watkins now too... but they'll need to get rid of Holjund first...

Pity you didn't qualify for the Club World Cup :D

Come back if Chelski win it
Manchester United became the first British club to win the FIFA Club World Cup when the Reds beat LDU Quito in Yokohama, Japan on 21 December 2008. Wayne Rooney scored the only goal.

hmmm... some very tough opposition in those days:

Manchester United FC (England) - 2007/08 UEFA Champions' League winners
LDU de Quito (Ecuador) - 2008 Copa Libertadores winners
Gamba Osaka (Japan) - 2008 Asian Champions' League winners
Pachuca CF (Mexico) - 2007/08 FC Champions Cup winners
Waitakere United (New Zealand) - 2007/08 Oceanian Champions' Cup winners
Al-Ahly FC (Egypt) - 2008 African Champions' Cup winners
    Adelaide United (Australia)

    Waitakere ??? New Zealand !

Not surprised Utd won that :D

Appears Chelski won it in 2021

Yes, I'd forgotten about it... beat Palmeiras in the Final - still just the 7 club format - worth about $10m

Bit like the Community shield previously but huge money now - Chelski have already pocketed £61m!

Think I read the other day United need to balance their books - selling Garnacho would put them in a position to up the fee for Mbuemo.

Problem is who wants Man Utd's cast offs ?

Perhaps being such a big club - most smaller clubs would see taking Garnacho/Sancho as a step down for the player and therefore likely to lead to problems in the future.
