Who would have thought when Ferguson left how things would turn out in with new managers at United.

They now have their third manager in three years - Moyes, LVG & now Mourinho.
JM does not usually stay long at any club so the stable years of Alex Ferguson are well and truly gone.

I think its shocking and disrespectful of the way LVG was dismissed, he deserved to be told he was fired before United leaked to the media that he was going.

Very unprofessional indeed, I feel for the chap even though I didn't rate him as a manager.

Very unprofessional but the 5 million will soften the blow a bit.

With premier league managers losing their jobs frequently to say the least you would think that the clubs would employ their managers on a one season basis only, as you said the five million pounds will soften the blow.

I do not think LVG will have a good word to say about his time at United, he always appeared to be like a duck out of water and his inability to be able to deal with the media just made things worst for him.

Apparently there are a few hundred upset supporters camped outside Old Trafford right now demanding LVG be reinstated, the Police have asked these City fans to go home and stop causing problems.

United suffered the same plight when Busby stepped away
Liverpool got it right with Shankly Paisley
Fagen and too an extent Evans and Moran.
Everton also with Catterick and then Kendal.
Fergie had 2 good footballing CEO s in Edwards and Gill.
We won't see the likes of all of them again

Bolton will have him, they will have almost anyone at the moment. Peter Reid looks the favourite.

Clearly the city fans feel that United need to be held back by something or someone to give city a chance to catch up on the trophy count.
Still if thieves broke into cities trophy room they could nick a couple of trophies a few antiques and the blue carpet!

I think Mourinho will be gone in 3 years - tops.
Stability seems to be disappearing from all manager's jobs now.
Wenger is the only one left and many of their fans are baying for his blood too.

I reckon they will struggle to get someone of class ,not many around at the moment.
You might end up with Moyes back or Royle or both.

De Boer, Pellegrini, Favre, Emery - there are more class managers linked.
    No chance of Moyes IMO.

I think it will be de Boer (Backroom staff including Stamm and Bergkamp) and also rumours of Marc Overmars coming in as director of football too.
