Marrying in Denmark

I have been given the name of a company in Germany who specialise in arranging marriages in Denmark. The company is Agentur Heiraten Leicht Gemacht.
Has anyone had any experience of this company. They state that your loved one can visit on a Tourist Visa and marry in Denmark while she is here. This seems to go against all the information I have learned though this site.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

It could stem from the simple fact that we haven't got the faintest idea about Denmark......

really....... With a bit of subterfuge, someone on a visitors visa can marry here as well.......
The problem arises when she has to go back and apply for a settlement visa from her own country ...

Where and when did you marry..??? Oh, I see........ Cutting corners........... Denied.........

But if you foolow EU rules, and work in denmark, or prove to be then yes, I suppose.
You could avail yourself of that route.
But it will be a long and tortuous way to make things regular in the UK, with residence cards, and permanents residence...

I think that the poster is looking for cheap cutting corner approach to a visa application of course I might be wrong1 as good things come out of Denmark such a s bacon and butter.

I know we have discussed Denmark as a place of marriage here on the forum before, apparently it is easier to get married there but my memory fails me on what thread it was, I have a feeling it was JA who started the thread.

Denmark is certainly a lovely place, my favourite country in Europe.

You can probably marry anywhere in the world... but being permitted to enter or settle in the UK afterwards is quite a different matter.

Marrying in the EU and then relocating back in the UK takes the best part of a year and requires you to prove that your 'centre of life' is in the EU country and you must be employed there to enable you to qualify for the necessary Family Permit. The days that British nationals can use this route to bypass normal immigration controls are numbered.

Thank you for your replies. I am retired and have lived in Germany for 17 years. Due to problems with my health and mobility Denmark would be an easier travel option for me to marry my loved one and they will apostille the second wedding certificate. We then wish to live in my home here in Germany. Does a Danish apostille have any bearing or must my then wife return to the Philippines?

    Have you met her yet?

That's a very good point. Demark, like Germany, is in the Schengen Zone and you would need to apply for a Family Reunification visa from the German Embassy. This is unlikely to be forthcoming if you haven't already met at least once.

As I understand the post and other posts from the op, he has health problems and mobility problems he has spoken to his friend on skype and maybe other media.he looked at ways to get her to Germany to marry and this was a no goer now looking at a backdoor method through denmark. I don't believe he has advised the forum they have met in person.

Maybe you should find that out first before planning a wedding. Just a thought.

She is coming for 3 months and the marriage in Denmark can be arranged very quickly if we still both want it

Geoff you seem to be avoiding giving a straight answer on , will this be the first time you've met?

I am not avoiding giving a straight answer. Why is everyone so aggressive, you asked me a straight question and I told you she is coming for the first time next month. Despite previous comments I am not trying to find a back door in, I can not travel to the Philippines on health grounds. I am trying to find an alternative legal way to marry the lady I love.
