Happy Holy week mymy, the waiting and the nerves will all be worth it in the end. My loved one in Manila at the moment will be applying for a Fiancée visa in a few weeks and I will be in the same boat as you regarding feelings of nervousness and so on. I dont know how long it takes for a visit visa, but there is a table on the UKBA site which gives you a bit of an idea how long. Have a look on here. It depends on the type of visit visa. The days quoted are working days only. Select Philippines from the option list, first. At the moment they are showing the times taken to issue visas in January from Manila.
